Management of facial fractures does not only entail putting together broken bones but it should be done in such a way that aesthetic outcome is still maximized and in some cases improvements can be done with the fracture repair so that the outcome is even more aesthetically pleasing than the pre-injured state.
If you have a previously repaired facial fracture and you are unhappy with the outcome, talk to your plastic surgeon. It is never too late to repair a facial fracture, nor is it too late to seek improvements even on previously repaired fractures.
